Drafting and Planning: Megan Sequence First Draft

The music video which I am creating will consist of a couple of characters and the journey they go through as women in the everyday life. The music video will explore and follow the lives of four female characters which vary in their nature. The characters wil have such roles as mother, nurse, student and artist and the video will flow from one character to the next. I have recently finished putting together a sequence of shots which will make up the story of one of the characters. 



The sequence follows a student that begings talking to a male aquaintance and then moves on to leave to the bathroom and put her make up on. Upon her arrivial she is more lively and then the over the shoulder shot shows a male looking up and gazing upon her, representing the male gaze in the media. The sequence shows how a woman requires make up to face society otherwise she is rideculed.
