Drafting and Planning: Felicity machine scene
This scene was filmed on the 16th of December on the grounds of the school. The scene includes a female student that goes about her textile work which shows her to do tasks which is typically feminine. The shot used here is an over the shoulder shot which perfectly shows what the character is doing. The scene is still a textile room and that can be seen by the background and the walls as they display textile work.
The editing I will use to transition from this scene to the next scene could be a dissolve. To show how smoothly the work the character is doing as she is a talented. The prop used here is an ink press and it is a difficult machine to use. It is hard to press as it is heavy and therefore requires skill. This shot shows that women that want to do a specific task can and therefore can create beautiful pieces of art.
